KEUKENHOF ~ TULIP HEAVEN

Well hello there …

When we were visiting Amsterdam in April, we decided to book an extra night in Noorwijkerhout to visit Keukenhof, to experience the gorgeous views of the blooming Dutch tulips. Keukenhof is the most famous and largest flower park in the world and is located at only 40 kilometers, 35 minutes’ drive from Amsterdam.

Keukenhof is a park, where more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted every year. 32 Hectares of gardens and four pavilions show a fantastic collection of: tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, orchids, roses, carnations, irises, lilies and many other flowers. You will be overwhelmed by a spectacle of colors and perfumes. The park has a different theme each year, meaning that it is never the same. It attracts over a million visitors every year.

  • Keukenhof is easily accessible by bus or by car. There is sufficient parking space at € 6 / day.

  • When the season is over, the bulbs are removed from the ground.

  • 75% of the visitors are foreigners.
